We were able to take a tour on the Tahoe Queen this year. It was an amazingly fun and unique experience for us and Lolly.

Lindsay, Mathias and the wind:)

Lolly and Garron sitting on the life jacket box.

The water changed from this green color (above - about 9ft) to the blue color (below - about 1000ft) and every color in between as we were traveling. It was phenomenal...

The M S Dixie II (in the background) - it is faster than the Tahoe Queen, but it uses paddle-wheels plus propellers...so the captain of the TQ likes to tease that she cheats.

This is an authentic Scandinavian mansion called Vikingsholm in Emerald Bay. The owner had it designed after extensive research of mansions of it's kind. She also had the stone turret built on Fanette island to serve as a tea house that she would boat out to everyday.

The paddle-wheels...

Nessie (from Loch Ness) has a cousin, Tessie who resides in Lake Tahoe. She is nicer and more rhythmically inclined - as you can see from this 'hokey-pokey' snapshot. This was the highlight of the tour for Mathias - Garron was sooooo not into dancing with a guy in a monster suit, though for the record, he probably has never been inclined to such frivolity:) We think he was staring in amazement that a grown-up would have an actual paying job of this caliber.

The cabin - inside and out. It was a great place to stay. Lots of comfy seating, wireless internet and a hot tub. What more do you need on vacation, right?

Thanks for the cabin pictures! If you can believe it, I forgot to take any. I was hoping you would!
The Tahoe Queen looks fun. It would have been nice if we could have stayed for a week too. But y'all probably would have tired of us! Looking forward to Thanksgiving already!!!
The pictures of the cabin made me miss it already. Umm... here is an idea... lets buy a big house in tahoe and just move there! ...ya, I wish.
