Apparently, he went to see the doctors for a sleeping problem and they detected an irregular heartbeat. He feels confident that the irregularity is being brought on by the stress of boot camp - or else it would have been caught earlier. Whatever the case may be, his stint in the Navy appears to be ending abruptly.
He and I both have a lot of mixed feelings about the whole situation. We are glad to be having him come home of course, but know it will be a struggle to figure out the next step to take...or more appropriately how to accomplish the next step, since we both know his continuing school is involved.
I just wanted to thank everyone again for the support and prayers offered on our behalf. Despite all the ups and downs...we're feeling the love - thank you!

I'm so sorry to hear that Randy isn't doing well. Well, yea he isn't sleeping because he is probably so scared that they are going to come in the middle of the night and wake them up, right? Plus the time they get up everyday and the strenuous activities that he has been through. Plus, missing his family terribly brings a lot of stress. Poor guy! I'm sure you guys are so relieved that he is just coming home, but like you said, wondering what the next step should be? We are there for you if you need to talk or whatever.
