This is what happens when you don't see family for a long time - and then when you go to visit them...they bounce you around from house to house, and from activity to activity, in a parade of parties, movies, games and relatives to boot...
Snooze Patrol. Poor Tersa:)
Leann's cabin happens to be close to where the biggest portion of the Columbia space ship crashed down. A memorial has sense been duly erected.
These two men were fire fighters who died in a helicopter crash while searching for debris of the space shuttle.
My Mamoo and Grand-daddy also live close to the area, so we were able to visit them for a while. This is G-Daddy's barn. I'm not sure how he persists in keeping the whole thing stuck together, but it's a pretty fun place...especially for kids. You could hide out in there for hours and have a seemingly endless cache of nick-knacks to look at (and if you're brave enough - play with). A really nice billy goat even lives in there now:)
He also owns a pretty killer swing - which he kindly pushed the boys on! He was so careful with them and didn't push them too hard or too fast, even though they were secretly dying to go really high. They accomplished this feat after their great-grandfather left...with the help of their cousins of course:)
